IIT Palakkad and GCE Barton Hill Forge Partnership to Advance Translational Research

In a significant step towards enhancing academic cooperation and fostering translational research, the Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad signed an MoU with the Translational Research and Professional Leadership Centre (TPLC) of the Government College of Engineering Barton Hill (GCEBH), Trivandrum, on April 7, 2025. The MoU focuses on collaborative academic and research activities between the two institutions.

The MoU was formally signed by Dr. Athira P., Dean Academics, IIT Palakkad; Prof. Santhakumar Mohan, Dean (ICSR), IIT Palakkad; and Dr. Shiny G., Principal, GCE Barton Hill, Trivandrum. The signing ceremony was held at IIT Palakkad in the presence of faculty members and institutional representatives, including Dr. Subhasis Mitra, Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Palakkad; Dr. Srinath, Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Palakkad; Dr. Selvapandian, Industry Liaison Officer, IIT Palakkad; and Dr. Bijulal D., Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering & Dean (UG), GCE Barton Hill.
