Research
Networked control systems (NCS): If a dynamical system(s) or components of a dynamical system are connected via a wireless network, then how does its state estimation, stability and control design work in tandem is the main theme of this research. This work is at the intersection of the areas of control theory and communication systems engineering.
Reinforcement learning (RL) based control: If a dynamical system model is not available, is it sill possible control a system, either linear or nonlinear, using the data obtained from the measurement sensors? This work is at the intersection of reinforcement learning, deep learning and optimal control
