Biosketch
Vishnu B Raj is an entrepreneur, mentor and, researcher currently pursuing his Ph.D. at IIT Palakkad on Intrinsic Explainability of Deep Learning models. He is a co-founder and the Chief technical officer at Deepflow Technologies Pvt. Ltd., an AI enabled agri-tech startup which is helping farmers to increase their profits by increasing their yield with the help of AI. The startup is currently funded by NABARD and is incubated at IIM Bengaluru, India.
He completed his M.Tech. in Signal Processing and Embedded Systems from Government Engineering College, Kannur, during which he has won various technical hackathons conducted by Siemens and ASAP Kerala. He has also worked as a research fellow at CUSAT on developing an AI enabled Intelligent device for monitoring underwater acoustics funded by SONY India.
He has mentored and trained over 500+ students on image processing, python programming, Artificial Intelligence, Ethical Hacking, AR and Game Development and similar topics from various engineering colleges across India including IITs and NITs.
Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence and Explainable AI are some of his areas of interest.
