Earth Day Celebrations at campus iterates the need for Sustainable Living

Happy Earth Day! A day dedicated to eco-friendly activities, that's how IIT Palakkad celebrated mother nature today.

Thank you, Dr. T V Sajeev, Principal Scientist, Kerala Forest Research Institute (KFRI)  for the enlightening keynote address and for being part of our celebrations.
We had a 360-degree celebration on campus.  Planting of trees by students and faculties for a greener future,  a scenic ride through the nearby plantation, screening of the thought-provoking documentary "Our Planet" narrated by David Attenborough to raise awareness, and a flea market sale for some sustainable shopping! This celebration reminds us of the need to conserve our planet.

Moving forward,  let's iterate on the importance of sustainable living.
