One-day industrial visit to the PowerGrid 2000 MW VSC HVDC Station

The Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Palakkad organised a one-day industrial visit  to the PowerGrid 2000 MW VSC HVDC Station in Thrissur District, Kerala. 20 students accompanied by Dr. Manas Kumar Jena and Dr. Arun Rahul from the Department of Electrical Engineering visited the substation. It was a great chance for the students, staff, and faculty to talk to professionals in the field and learn how electrical power systems work in real life.
