RECCAP 2026 commences at IIT Palakkad

The International Conference on Recent Advances in Electronics, Communication, Computing, Automation, and Power (RECCAP 2026) Jointly organized by the IEEE Malabar Subsection and IEEE Kerala Section, financially co-sponsored by the Ministry of Education (ANRF), Sinetec Automation Pvt. Ltd., and COMSOL, was inaugurated at IIT Palakkad, bringing together researchers, academicians, and industry experts from across the globe. 

The inaugural ceremony was presided over by Prof. A. Seshadri Sekhar, Director, IIT Palakkad and General Chair of RECCAP 2026. Dr. Sameer S. M., Director Elect, IEEE Region 10 and General Chair of RECCAP 2026, briefed the gathering on the conference. Dr. Sudheendra Kaushik, President, IEEE TEMS, delivered the opening keynote on “Research and Innovation for Successful Entrepreneurship”. 

Dr. Arun Rahul S., Organising Chair, welcomed the gathering. Dr. Rijil Ramchand, Technical Program Committee Co-chair, briefed the audience on the various technical tracks, including the keynote sessions. The event also featured a felicitation by Dr. Gilesh M. P., Vice-chair of the IEEE Kerala Section, and a vote of thanks by Dr. Nafeesa K., Chair of the IEEE Malabar Subsection.

The conference will feature keynote sessions scheduled for the upcoming days by Dr. Suresh Nair, Founder and Managing Director, Amara Raja Design Alpha, Dr. Peddoju Satheesh Kumar, Professor at Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, and Dr. Sivakumar from Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad. Technical paper presentations across eight parallel tracks commenced on the opening day, covering innovations in electronics, communication, computing, automation, and power systems. The event will also feature cultural programs and will conclude on 24th.
