IIT Palakkad to Play a Key Role in Kochi - Bengaluru Industrial Corridor

IIT Palakkad is set to play a key role in Kerala’s industrial and innovation ecosystem through its upcoming Research Park, which is expected to significantly strengthen industry – academia collaboration and support technology-driven enterprises in the region.

The Palakkad Industrial Smart City, a key component of the Kochi-Bengaluru Industrial Corridor, was inaugurated by Sri P. Rajeev, Minister for Law, Industries and Coir, Government of Kerala. The project is widely regarded as a transformative initiative that will reshape Kerala’s industrial landscape.

Prof. A. Seshadri Sekhar, Director, IIT Palakkad, participated in this significant event, underlining the institute’s active engagement in Kerala’s industrial development initiatives.
