A Grand Finale to the General Championship 3.0!
The General Championship Closing Ceremony was held with great enthusiasm, marking the successful conclusion of the championship and celebrating the achievements of all participants.
The event began with a welcome address by Dr. Padmesh A, Faculty Advisor Sports, who warmly welcomed the dignitaries, participants, and audience. This was followed by the Director’s address, in which Prof. A. Seshadri Sekhar appreciated the participants for their spirited performances throughout the championship.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Joseph Abraham, the recipient of the Arjuna award and a gold medalist in the Asian Games, then addressed the gathering, sharing inspiring words on the values of sportsmanship, teamwork, and perseverance. Following this, Dr. Swaroop, Dean Students, presented the meet report, highlighting the major events and achievements of the championship.
An after movie capturing memorable moments from the General Championship was then screened, bringing back the excitement and energy of the event. The ceremony concluded with the prize distribution, where winners were recognised for their outstanding performances, followed by the vote of thanks.
