Mr. Pradipan Maitra, MS Research Scholar working under the supervision of Dr. Arijit Hazra, Department of Mechanical Engineering, has been awarded the Best Paper Award for his paper presentation titled ‘Fisher-Informed Optimal Temporal Sampling for Boundary Heat Flux Estimation in Transient Jet Impingement Cooling’ at the Aerospace Symposium on Technological Research Advancements (ASTRA), at the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST). He was also awarded a cash prize of ₹3,500 in recognition of this achievement.
