Ms. Padmavathy B, Ph.D. scholar in the Environmental Sciences and Sustainable Engineering Centre, under the guidance of Dr. Praveena Gangadharan and Dr. Dinesh Jagadeesan, has been awarded third place with a cash prize of Rs. 20,000 in the Urja Shakti 2025 National Level Essay Writing Competition organized by RGIPT, Jais, Uttar Pradesh, for her write-up on the theme 'Waste to Energy – Electrocatalytic Conversion of Wastewater to Hydrogen Energy’.
