Adding It All Up: Summer Training Program in Mathematics Concludes!

The second edition of the summer training program in Mathematics organised by the Department of Mathematics concluded at IIT Palakkad. The program aimed to motivate and groom competent young minds to solve some of the challenging problems in mathematics.
As part of the event Prof. U K Anandavardhanan, Professor, Department of Mathematics, IIT Bombay delivered a special lecture on  Legendre Polynomials.  He was honoured with the prestigious Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize in 2020 and elected a Fellow of the Indian Academy of Sciences, Bangalore in 2024.
