IIT Palakkad Signs MoU with MES College of Engineering Kuttippuram for Academic and Research Collaboration

IIT Palakkad and the MES College of Engineering, Kuttipuram signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for academic and research cooperation. The collaboration will promote sustained academic engagement and research partnerships between IIT Palakkad and MES College. The MoU aims to facilitate the exchange of information on research and educational programmes, promote academic interaction, and enable the joint organization of seminars, conferences, workshops, and short-term courses. It also provides opportunities for joint supervision of projects by faculty members from the participating institutions, as well as student internships and academic exchanges.

Following the signing, the delegation from MES College of Engineering held discussions with Dr. Saishyam Narayanan, CEO, IPTIF, and visited the IPTIF facility as well as the Centre for Robotics & Control at IIT Palakkad. The visit provided an opportunity to explore potential areas for joint research, technology development, and student engagement. The MoU was signed by Dr. Bibhu Ranjan Sarangi, Dean, Academics, IIT Palakkad; Dr. Arvind Ajoy, Dean, ICSR, IIT Palakkad; and Dr. Rahumathunza I, Principal, MES College of Engineering; in the presence of Dr. Nivedita L. Raveendran, Industry Liaison Officer, IIT Palakkad and Dr. Gopakumar A., Dean, Research, MES College of Engineering.
