IIT Palakkad participated in the inaugural session of SEMICON India 2026
IIT Palakkad participated in the inaugural session of SEMICON India 2026 via live video conference. The summit was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, who highlighted India's transition into the second phase of its semiconductor strategy encompassing advances in chip design, manufacturing, packaging, equipment, and materials. The event features over 600 companies, delegations from more than 50 countries, and over 150 speakers. The live session was attended by Dr. Jobin Francis, Head, Department of Electrical Engineering; Dr. Subrahmanyam Mula, Associate Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering along with students from M.Tech. System-on-Chip-Design, B.Tech. Electrical Engineering and Ph.D. scholars, reflecting the institute's strong commitment to the India Semiconductor Mission 2.0.
