To the Mentors Who Inspire and Ignite – Thank You!

IIT Palakkad celebrated Teachers’ Day, honouring the teachers and mentors who inspire curiosity, nurture ideas, and encourage the pursuit of excellence. Prof. Ashok Misra, Former Director, IIT Bombay, NASI Distinguished Professor at IISc, Bengaluru, and Member of the Advisory Council of IIT Palakkad, was the Chief Guest for the occasion. Prof. A. Seshadri Sekhar, Director, IIT Palakkad, presided over the function. 

As part of the celebrations, Dr. Sukomal Dey, Associate Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering, was conferred the Best Teacher Award for the year. The Institute extended its heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Sukomal Dey on this well-deserved recognition and expressed gratitude to all its teachers for their invaluable contributions to shaping young minds and inspiring future generations.
