QIP Admission 2026-27

The AICTE Quality Improvement Programme (QIP) admission for the academic year 2026–27 has commenced.

The eligibility criteria for admission under the QIP scheme are as follows:

(i) For Master’s Degree Programme

Full-time regular/permanent faculty members of AICTE-approved Polytechnic (Diploma) institutes having:

  • At least one year of teaching experience at the polytechnic level.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate branch.

(ii) For Ph.D. Programme in Engineering/Management

Full-time regular/permanent faculty members of AICTE-approved Degree/Diploma level institutes having:

  • At least three years of teaching experience at polytechnic/graduate level institutes.

  • A Master’s degree in the appropriate branch.

In addition to the above minimum eligibility criteria, the specific requirements of the respective QIP Centre/Institute must also be fulfilled for admission to the Master’s/Ph.D. programme.
