Strengthening Partnerships : IIT Palakkad organised CSR Conclave

IIT Palakkad hosted the CSR Conclave 2025 bringing together corporate leaders and institutional stakeholders to explore collaborative opportunities for societal impact. The event began with a welcome by Dr. Vivek Chaturvedi, Associate Dean, ICSR,  followed by an opening address from Prof. A. Seshadri Sekhar, Director, IIT Palakkad. Shri Kaviraj Nair, CEO, Office of Institutional Advancement at IIT Madras, addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of purposeful partnerships between IITs and industries. The conclave featured presentations on the institute’s major social impact initiatives, including an overview by Dr. Arvind Ajoy, Dean ICSR, and additional insights from Dr. Saishyam Narayanan, CEO, IPTIF, and Shri Midhu Unnithan, COO, TECHIN. 

Key ongoing activities that required CSR collaboration were discussed by Dr. Sreenath V (SATCARD), Dr. Praveena Gangadharan (GSCOE), and Dr. Athira. P, Dean Academics. Industry representatives including Shri K. V. Vinayarajan (Buimerc India Foundation), Shri Jestin K Sunny (Symega Food Ingredients Ltd.), and Shri. Shaji Scaria (Wootz Structures Pvt. Ltd.) shared their perspectives on meaningful CSR engagement with IIT Palakkad. An open discussion moderated by Dr. Krishna Sesha Giri encouraged interactive dialogue between faculty and industry on expectations and partnership models. The event concluded with closing remarks and a vote of thanks by Dr. Nelson Muthu, Faculty-In-Charge, AIC.
