Kadambini: Celebrating Women at IIT Palakkad

IIT Palakkad celebrated International Women’s Day with a vibrant and insightful gathering, honouring the achievements and contributions of women across various fields. Prof. A. Seshadri Sekhar, Director of IIT Palakkad, addressed the gathering. The event brought together faculty, staff, students and scholars to reflect on the importance of gender equality and inclusivity in academia and beyond.

A key highlight of the celebration was two engaging presentations on the lives and accomplishments of renowned women personalities, inspiring the audience with stories of resilience and excellence. Adding to the celebratory spirit, there was a group song and a poignant poetry recitation performed by members of the IIT Palakkad community.

The event also featured valuable insights shared by faculty and staff, who reflected on their experiences at IIT Palakkad and discussed ways to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for women in academia.
