Global Horizons: International Students Meet at IIT Palakkad

The Office of International and Alumni Relations successfully organized to foster inclusivity and engagement. The event commenced with a warm welcome address by Prof. A. Seshadri Sekhar, Director, followed by an insightful interaction session with Prof. Anand T. N. C., Dean Academics, Dr. Deepak Rajendraprasad, Dean Students, and Dr. Dinesh Setti, Faculty in Charge, International and Alumni Relations and the IAR Staff. The deans attentively addressed the concerns raised by the international students, particularly related to hostel accommodations and academic matters. Additionally, the event facilitated cross-cultural interactions between international students and IAR staff, encouraging mutual understanding and collaboration.

Staff from the International Relations Office and student representatives from the IAR Cell were actively involved, contributing to a productive exchange of ideas. The IAR Student Cell also delivered a presentation to the international students, addressing their basic needs and ensuring that they felt supported. The students were also encouraged to participate in the institute's cultural and sports events, highlighting our emphasis on a holistic academic experience.
