ESSENCE Colloquium: Multistage Drought Forecasting to Support Food Insecurity Early Warning

Impressive insights that could make a difference in tackling global hunger that was the latest episode of ESSENCE (Environmental Sciences and SustainableEngineering Centre ) IIT Palakkad Colloquium held on 10 May at IIT Palakkad by Dr. Shraddhanand Shukla, a researcher at the University of California Santa Barbara. In his address to the student community, he discussed the role of remote sensing and hydrological modeling in predicting drought and resulting food insecurity.
