Workshop on Hydrogen Valley in Kerala

Workshop on Hydrogen Valley in Kerala was organized by Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad, Energy Management Center (EMC) Kerala, Agency for New and Renewable Energy Research and Technology (ANERT), and Government of Kerala under the auspices of Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, on the 15th of February 2023 at Trivandrum.

The state of Kerala has taken early leadership on this front with initiatives focussed on the Hydrogen Economy. This workshop brought together stakeholders across government bodies, industries and academic R&D organisations to brainstorm on establishing an end to end supply chain to enable hydrogen economy and facilitate discussions on prospects, promises and bottlenecks surrounding the production, storage, transportation and utilisation of the hydrogen. The outcome of the workshop would be to prepare a proposal to the Government of India for setting up a Hydrogen Valley in Kerala
